Sandy Ottman of Cameron, Grandson Robby, Sons, Bradley Ottman of Durand and Larry (Brenda) Loop, of Chippewa Falls Granddaughter Brenda, Grandsons (Carol) Aaron, Eric, and Dustin, Granddaughters Nicole, Jennifer,, Mikayla and Breanna. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Mandy (Russ) Phillips of Menomonie, Grandchildren Marisa, Rocky, Renae, Rusty and Rhonda. His motto was, “laughter is the best medicine” in which he carried with him every day of his life… His Children and Grandchildren will always cherish the memories of the many Christmas Eve's at their home, full of love, laughter, dancing and his unforgettable Oyster Stew! Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and woodworking and spending time with family and friends, having a few beers and telling a lot of jokes. Wayne worked at The Creamery in Elmwood and later drove semi and hauled milk for Mid America Dairymen in Baldwin until he retired. Wayne and Faye made their home in the Township of Spring Lake, on Cady Creek where they enjoyed the country life. ![]() Wayne later married Faye (Turner) Loop in August of 1969. Wayne married Ellen Wohler in 1960 and they later divorced. While in the Air Force he was a lifeguard at the Pensacola beach in the Gulf of Mexico… ( Wayne proudly told others that he was a "pilot" in the Air Force… he would then follow up saying " they would tell me to pile it here and pile it over there and he did it!) ![]() Air Force and then in the Air Force reserves serving a total of 8 years and was honorably discharged. He was the son of Vernon and Helen (Bartlett) Ottman and grew up in the Ellsworth area before moving to Elmwood just before High School and graduating from Elmwood High School 1952. Ottman age 86 of Menomonie, formerly of Elmwood, passed away on Thursday Novemat The Neighbors of Dunn County.
